Gromit is a Wheaten Terrier cross we were blessed with a few years ago, found at the Animal Protection Society Shelter in Mebane, NC. He's crossed with red coonhound, although Erik never likes to admit it, and omits that portion whenever people ask what he is.
But he is half coonhound, and we can't let him loose anywhere, or we'll never see him again. His nose would take him right into oncoming traffic.
